Project Director

Opportunity:

My client is a leading International Consultancy with a proven track record of winning and successfully delivering major infrastructure schemes around the world. Their role on the project is to provide PMC services to the end client during the Design Review and then Construction supervision phases.

Responsibilities:

The Project Director shall be responsible for leading the Project Team, working closely with stakeholder, contractors, and the end client to ensure a successful and sustainable program.

• Overseeing the comprehensive management and performance of the project, including planning, design reviews, construction supervision, program controls, and monitoring, to ensure timely delivery within budget and to specifications.

• Providing leadership and strategic guidance for the project.

• Supporting and fostering a collaborative approach within a large, multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder, and culturally diverse project team.

• Developing and promoting a clear vision, leadership, and direction to steer the project toward success.

• Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with key project stakeholders.

• Reviewing design bases, geotechnical aspects, temporary works, permitting procedures, drawings, reports, specifications, and other necessary elements to ensure compliance with all Employer requirements.

• Ensuring adherence to design principles, safety regulations, standards, local laws, and the requirements of relevant parties and administrative or governmental bodies.

• Collaborating closely with the Project Manager, Project Controls, and contract personnel to ensure all aspects of the project are addressed.

Key requirements for the role:

• Masters [MSc] Degree (ideally in Project Management.) or PMP

• 20+ years' experience.

• Experience in major civil engineering project including major bridges, managing multi-disciplinary teams ($100m+)

• Knowledge of Design/design review/project management experience in Cable Stayed Bridges would be advantageous

Language:

Fluency in English

Salary Package:

The salary package will depend on experience and could be in the range of $18,000 per month as well as a full expatriate package including Flights, accommodation etc.
